A Free-Use Character & Vocal Project
The HEXIA project provides a free character & vocal data for noncommercial, commercial, & educational use with attribution & following a set of guidelines. The vocal synthesis libraries are primarily English-language focused, but is currently also offered in lightly accented Japanese.
HEXIA
HEXIA is the free-use character at the center of this project! She consists of a set of vocal synthesizer libraries, voice recordings dataset, a character design, and loose character profile that can be used in noncommercial, commercial, and educational works to an unlimited extent as long as the user follows the stated guidelines.
Some HEXIA materials are free only for non-commercial use - be sure to check the README.txt file that comes with every resource for the usage guidelines!
