CHARM CONTEST
The Charm Contest was created to create a unique keepsake for the event, and was judged based on simplicity/printability on a small 2" acrylic charm, as well as general look and feel that represents the feel of the fest and SONIKA herself. All of the entries were absolutely gorgeous, and you can see them here. Hover for the artist's social media.
An "Official Charm" was also created in order to capture the aesthetic of the event, and provide a consistent style for a charm series to carry through in future events.
TUNING EVENT
The Tuning Event was created to celebrate the efforts of Vocaloid tuners, a usage art with complexity unique to the vocal synthesis community that many people work hard on to enhance their compositions. We did a short term tuning event for an arrange of the song that won SONIKA's song contest, "U know It (My Name Is SONIKA)" by VioletCall, arranged by celestrai. The tuners can be seen listed in the video, and also in the thread with the video tweet.
